The Come Command is definitely a useful command for any dog owner! When practicing this command we start with the Sit and Stay commands, and then walk 10-15 meters away from the dog. Of course, shorter distance at the very beginning when you start learning this exercise. The dog shall sit until the Come command is given. Once the command is given, the dog shall run towards you and sit down at your left side. The faster the dog runs the better! Using a treat and moving your hand to get the dog to sit down helps, but eventually the dog should not need this help.
In this case the dog is a little slow to get up, but the speed is great. The double Come command and the extensive hand movements seem to be a bit unnecessary, and can probably be avoided next time!
